Cockroaches are a major nuisance, but we’re here to help you send them packing!
One thing that every homeowner hates to see are cockroaches. When you turn on the kitchen light and watch them scurry away, it always makes you feel like there’s no hope. Between cockroaches and ants, you begin to feel like you have a bunch of uninvited guests, and that you can’t get rid of them fast enough, particularly during the hot times of the year.
Since 1976, The Bug Man has been Arkansas’ home pest control leader, and when you want a cockroach free home, we’re always a phone call or a mouse click away. Our team of pest control experts are the most courteous and customer focused professionals in the business, and they hate bugs even more than you do. Give us a call, and we’ll take it from there! We also have a few easy pointers that will help you get started.
No such thing as too clean-Cleanliness isn’t always a deterrent for insects, but if you take away any potential food sources for them, they might just move on. Be sure to clean behind and underneath your appliances, and don’t store any food on your counters unless it’s in a sealed airtight container.
Seal up access points-Pick up a tube of caulk at the hardware store, and then start to think like a cockroach. The edges of pipes and cracks in your drywall or molding are popular ways for them to sneak in, and it only takes a few minutes to seal them up. That doesn’t mean that they won’t find their way in elsewhere, but if it’s too much work, they’re likely to keep going.
Use bait and traps-There are a variety of inexpensive traps available at the grocery store, and you should pick the right one. Read the label, and set it up in an inconspicuous location. What you want to do is find traps that include poison to carry back to the nest, or at least use glue traps and replace them quickly.
