Your annual termite inspection is a “stitch in time” that can save you thousands!

All Arkansans keep a close eye on the weather forecast each spring, but did you know that termites cause more damage than tornadoes, fires, and floods combined? They’re responsible for an estimated $5 billion in structural damage each year, and termite activity is very difficult to spot without a trained eye. But they’re no match for our team at The Bug Man, and we proudly offer termite inspections in Little Rock!
We’ve been providing trusted pest control in Arkansas for over 50 years, and we’re here to help you protect your investment in your home. A termite inspection typically takes less than an hour, and our technicians all share our commitment to legendary service. Be sure to let us know about any other pest problems that you’ve been experiencing during your termite inspection, and feel free to ask as many questions as you like!
The most important thing you can do on your own to keep termites and other pests away is to keep up with your yardwork. Keep your lawn mowed, prune any hedges that come into direct contact with your home, and cut away any limbs or branches that dangle over your roof. And if you can’t safely trim large limbs on your own, there’s no shame in calling a professional tree service to ensure that the job is done right!
Termites are particularly fond of moist, unpainted wood, so be sure to inspect your home’s exterior a few times a year for damage. If you see any rotten or water-damaged wood around your eaves, soffits, or fascia, be sure to replace it right away and paint the new wood once the repairs are completed. Be sure to also avoid leaving pet food and water dishes outdoors, and keep your rain gutters clear of leaves and other debris at all times. You’re unlikely to spot termite activity on your own, but you should call us immediately if you ever spot “mud tubes” spiderwebbing along your home’s exterior.
Your termite inspection gives you year-round peace of mind, and we’ll send you reminders when it’s time to schedule your next visit to ensure that there’s never a lapse in your coverage!
