Call The Bug Man to learn more about professional mosquito treatment service in Little Rock!

Getting geared up for summer means different things to different people in The Natural State. Many of us enjoy cooking out with friends and family every chance we get, and Arkansas offers some of the best outdoor activities in the USA! But wherever we go, mosquitoes are a constant threat! If you’re going to be spending time outdoors, it’s important to use bug spray with at least 30% DEET for maximum effectiveness, and reapply every 6-8 hours, or more frequently as needed. And when you’re at home, our team of pest control experts at The Bug Man is here to help you keep your yard mosquito-free!
We’ve been providing trusted pest control in Little Rock for over 50 years, and we offer professional mosquito treatment services each year from April through October. Our mosquito treatment plans start at $90 a month for an average-sized yard, and we also offer single-visit treatments for our customers who want to ensure they won’t be disturbed during their church picnics, outdoor weddings, or other special events. We’ll be there to spray your yard each month, and we’re a phone call away if your yard requires any additional attention between your regularly scheduled service appointments.
There are also a few easy things you can take on your own to discourage mosquito activity. The most important thing you can do is keep your lawn mowed and your hedges trimmed. Mosquitoes lay their eggs in stagnant water, so be sure to empty pet food dishes and kiddie pools after use. And if you have a bird bath or any other outdoor water features, install an inexpensive pump to circulate the water.
Chrysanthemums and marigolds are a great way to add a pop of color to your garden, and they contain pyrethrum, a natural insecticide. An herb garden is a must for any serious cook, and mosquitoes can’t stand the smell of basil, garlic, mint, rosemary, and thyme. They also aren’t great flyers, and an outdoor fan is a great way to keep your yard free from flying insects and keep yourself and your guests cool at the same time!
