Mosquitoes and other flying pests are a very familiar nuisance for all Arkansans every summer. Whether you work outdoors, participate in activities such as backpacking and camping, or just enjoy having a few friends over for a cookout, the last thing you want is a bunch of unwanted guests spoiling your fun! You don’t have any control over what happens when you leave your home, but our team of pest control experts at The Bug Man is ready to help you keep your backyard mosquito-free!

We’ve been the most trusted pest control company in The Natural State for over 48 years, and we proudly offer trusted mosquito treatment services each year from April through October. Our mosquito treatment plans start at $85 monthly for an average-sized yard, and we also offer no-contract mosquito treatment services if you’d like to schedule treatment for a special occasion, such as an outdoor wedding or church camp. All of our experienced technicians share our commitment to legendary service, and they’ll be there on time to spray and treat your yard as often as necessary. There are also several easy things you can do on your own to lessen the chance of a mosquito infestation this summer:

Resolve backyard drainage problems-Mosquitoes lay their eggs in stagnant water, so be sure to add gravel to any areas in your backyard where rainwater accumulates. Be sure to also empty pet water dishes and kiddie pools after use and circulate the water in your outdoor fountains and water features.

Stay current on your yardwork-Mowing your lawn is one of the easiest ways to eliminate pest habitats, and you should also prune any bushes directly adjacent to your home.

Use natural repellents-Citronella candles and tiki torches are a great way to add some ambiance to an outdoor get-together, and you can also plant some fresh citronella in your garden. Fresh herbs and essential oils, including lemongrass, lavender, mint, and witch hazel, also have natural insect-repellent properties, and they also come in handy in the kitchen and around the house! Diatomaceous earth is also a great way to nourish your indoor house plants and keep away ants!
