An annual termite inspection is a great way to protect your home investment!
Most homeowners go through a lengthy search before making an offer, but it’s always worth it when you find the perfect home! Our homes are the most important investment we can make, and they’re the places we look most forward to returning to at the end of a busy workday or a long vacation. Preventive maintenance is a great way to reduce your risk of unexpected (and expensive) home repairs, and our team of pest control specialists at The Bug Man is standing by to help you keep your home pest-free!
Termites cost homeowners more money each year than fires, floods, and tornadoes combined, and they’re nearly impossible to detect without a properly trained eye. You might be able to spot “mud tubes” forming on your home exteriors, but most homeowners don’t know they have a problem until it’s too late. But we’ve been offering trusted termite inspections in Little Rock since 1976, and we’re here to help you enjoy year-round peace of mind. We also offer pest control in neighboring communities, including Benton, Conway, Searcy, Pine Bluff, and Hot Springs!
An annual termite inspection takes less than an hour and only takes a few minutes to schedule. Our seasoned pest control experts will inspect your home from top to bottom for evidence of termite activity, and your termite coverage is effective all year long. We’ll also make specific recommendations if we see any additional steps you can take on your own to keep termites and other pests away.
Preventive home maintenance is your best defense against future termite activity. For starters, be sure to keep your lawn mowed and prune any hedges or overhanging tree branches that come into direct contact with your home. Home improvement experts recommend painting your home’s exterior wood surfaces every 7-10 years, and you should periodically inspect your roofline, eaves, soffits, and fascia boards for water damage and wood rot. Termites love unpainted wood, so be sure to replace and repaint the damaged wood immediately. It’s not a good idea to pressure wash wood surfaces, but it’s safe to rinse away pollen, dirt, and cobwebs with your garden hose as needed.
